Adam & Charles Black: London, 1912. A photolithographic allegorical map of Wales by Lilian Lancaster (1852-1939), designer of humorous and unusual maps. The map is made up of figures from Welsh mythology dominated by an image of King Edward I of England, who invested his son Prince Edward (born in Caernarfon Castle in 1284) as the first English Prince of Wales in 1301.
