Published by Edward Orme in 1819 with original hand colouring. This action occurred on 1st June 1813 off the coast of Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. The United States declared war on Britain on 18 June 1812. Peace terms were agreed upon in the December 1814 Treaty of Ghent.
