A page from "The Illustrated London News" dated January, 18th, 1873 carrying two antique woodcut engravings. They show scenes during the strike in South Wales at that time. The top engraving is entitled "Exodus of Miners from Merthys Tydvil" and the bottom "Tip girls leaving the Dowlais Works. Colouring is later.
