This rare and curious antique map of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire was produced from the research of ARISTIDE MICHAEL PERROT in 1823. This map, a copper plate engraving, has original outline handcolouring. Some maps show a single county, but more often two or more counties were joined to form a group which is similar in industry, agriculture and terrain.

This miniature antique county map of Pembrokeshire was produced as a playing card map by Robert Morden in 1676. This map together with the whole of Mordens pack of cards were republished in 1773 by H. Turpin in a book entitled " A Brief Description of England and Wales". Original outline colour and is trimmed to the plate edge and mounted, as issued. Very good impression. Clean condition.
