A fine detailed 18th centy map of the county embellished with an uncoloured title cartouche. A rococo cartouche beneath a coat of arms displays the dedication to the Duke of Bedford. Index Villaris in bottom right corner has a list of Places and their Chief Persons. Printed for John Bowles in Cornhil, Carington Bowles in St. Pauls Church Yard and Robt. Sayer in Fleet Street. Original outline hand colouring. Some repaired marginal tears. Circa 1763.
