Chenopodium album. (Lamb Quarter's)
An antique line engraving (copperplate) published in " Flora Londinensis, or, Plates and descriptions of such plants as grow wild in the environs of London" by William Curtis. Curtis was from a Quaker family with a strong medical background and decided to concentrate on his true interest, natural history and botany, and became a well known horticulturist. On laid paper, which is watermarked. Circa 1777 with later hand colouring.
