An antique map of Shropshire by Thomas Dix which was published in 1818. Shows a black and white vignette view of Shrewsbury in bottom right and 'References to Hundreds', 'Market Towns & Market Days', and an 'Explanation'. Also shows Mail Roads, Churches and Chapels, Cross Roads, Navigable Canals, Rivers and Seats. After his death his 'A Complete Atlas of the English Counties' was completed and published by William Darton in 1822. Centrefold as published.
