A copper plate strip map by Thomas Gardner from the atlas "A Pocket Guide to the English Traveller" which was published in 1719. The colouring is later. This is map No. 2, of a set of three making up the route from London to Aberystwyth. This shows the section from Islip - Enton - Morton Inmarsh - Broadway - Pershore - Worcester - Bramyard.

John Speed.
This county map is from a rare edition of "The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britain" by John Speed, published in 1616 with Latin text on the verso. The maps were generally published uncoloured, but a few copies of the atlas were coloured at the time. This map is from one of those scarce editions.
