This antique county map of Surrey by Robert Morden was first published in 1701 in a work entitled "The New Description and State of England" however, a subsequent edition by Herman Moll in 1708 added a compass indicator and other detail. Uncoloured as printed Good margins and fine condition.

One of the maps that Speed based on John Norden's work rather than Saxton's, with inset views of Richmond and Nonsuch Palaces, elaborate strapwork cartouche, compass rose and heraldic shields. Some old folds. Engraved by Jodocus Hondius, 1610. From Speed's atlas 'The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine'.

This is a rare little antique county map of Surrey, together with distance table engraved by Van Langeren and published by Thomas Jenner in "A Direction for the English Traveller" in 1643. Some repairs have been carried out to side margins and part of bottom margin is missing.

This antique county map of Surrey is from a rare little atlas entitled "The Abridgement of Camden's Britannia" and was published by John Bill in 1626. These maps were the first county maps to show reference to latitude and longitude in the left and bottom margins. This map is uncoloured as published and has been trimmed to within a quarter of an inch of the platemark.
