An antique hand-coloured aquatint "From the Original Drawing made on the Spot, 19. Oct. 1813." London, Pub. by R. Bowyer, Pall Mall, 1815. A large and vivid scene of troops outside Leipzig with view of the town in the background. Has three vertical folds near centre and come staining on centrefold in the region of the sky and the title beneath, otherwise good condition.

Following defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte , allies storm Leipzig; capture of the king of Saxony; emperors of Russia and Poland, King of Prussia and Crown Prince of Sweden. Has two vertical folds at centre and some age toning to centrefold at the title.
